Signal considerations for MPC5XXX/SPC5XXX
- Following signals are N/C on the adapter, but should be connected on the target for use with the AUTO26 debug cable LA-3736: RESETOUT, WDTDIS, EVTI, EVTO, BREQ, BGRNT, EXTIO
- Optional signals (leave N/C when unused): RESETOUT, WDTDIS, JCOMP, EVTI, EVTO, BREQ, BGRNT, EXTIO
- If the pins EVTI and EVTO are assigned to functions other than debugging (e.g. GPIO), do not connect these signals to the debug connector.
- If JCOMP pin is not connected to the debug connector, the processor's JCOMP pin (if implemented) must be tied to VTREF.
In 1149.7 (cJTAG) mode, following signals change:
- TMS becomes TMSc
- TCK becomes TCKc
- TDI/TDO become N/C (tristated)
