Lauterbach GmbH was founded in 1979 by Lothar Lauterbach. It is an independent, privately owned company that has produced exceptional growth for many years. The company, already established as a technology leader, has evolved into the global market leader for hardware assisted debug tools.

Both software and hardware for all products is developed in Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn, near Munich, the corporate headquarters. 80% of the workforce is a software or hardware engineer and those not directly involved in engineering are working in sales, support and marketing. The company attaches great importance to a very high technical level and only the latest development methods are used. This sound technical know-how has a high priority in the sales, support and training departments contributing to the technical expertise that is highly rated by customers across the world.

Lauterbach is an internationally well-established company with blue chip customers from every corner of the globe. It is represented in all countries at the forefront of embedded design and international sales, marketing and support activities are directed from corporate headquarters in Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn, Germany. The company has it`s own branch offices in the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Japan, China and on both the east and west coasts of the United States. In all other countries Lauterbach co-operates with competent partner companies and has long-standing relationships with most of these, guaranteeing global supply and support for Lauterbach products.
