TRACE32 2023/02 Release: Starting with Release 2023/02, the support for Solaris host OS is discontinued.

TRACE32 2022/09 SP3 Release: The new debugger module type X50 needs software version 2022/09 SP2 (R.2022.09.000157066) or 2022/09 SP3 (R.2022.09.000157540).
TRACE32 2020/09 LTS Release: Starting with Release 2021/02, several old products and features have been discontinued. Lauterbach has introduced the TRACE32 2020/09 LTS Release for the affected products and features. More details can be found at TRACE32 LTS Release.
 

TRACE32 Software Updater


The TRACE32 Software Updater updates your current TRACE32 installation to the latest release version of TRACE32. It can be used if your current TRACE32 installation is newer than August 2012.

Before you start TRACE32 Software Updater, it is recommended that you check the status of your TRACE32 Maintenance License. Without a valid license, TRACE32 can be used only in a demo mode. We hope our FAQs answer all your further questions.

Release vs. Interim Builds


Lauterbach provides Release and Interim builds of the TRACE32 software to their customers.

Release Builds - Recommended

Release builds are produced twice a year after the TRACE32 software has gone through an intensive test phase.

Interim Builds

Interim builds are produced on a regular basis and contain all new TRACE32 features; mainly the support for new chips, new compiler versions or new target OSes. Interim builds only passed basic tests.
